Hola me llamo Lorena tengo 33 años y soy de Buenos Aires, estudié Psicología durante 3 años en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y también soy Técnica Administrativa en Turismo.
Cuando tenía 23 años decidí viajar por el mundo y me fuí a Europa, viví en España seis años y en Inglaterra durante un año. Además viajé por casi todo el continente Europeo.
Esta experiencia de haber vivido por siete años fuera de mi país me permitió, aprender otro Idioma Inglés, conocer otras culturas y enriquecerme como persona. En España comencé a enseñar Español y sigo haciéndolo actualmente en Buenos Aires.
En todos estos años he tenido muchos alumnos, de los cuales todos han estado y están muy conformes con nuestras clases.
Me encanta viajar y conocer gente de todo el mundo, además de enseñar Español que es mi otra pasión. Enseñar un Idioma no es solo aprender a hablarlo sino también es la transmición de una Cultura, es abrirse a una gran parte del mundo que habla otra lengua, por lo tanto también es crecer!
Hello my name is Lorena I am 33 years old and I am from Buenos Aires.
I’ve studied Psychology for 3 years at the Buenos Aires University and am a graduate in Tourism.
When I was 23 years old I decided to travel around the world, so I went to Europe and I stayed there for nearly 7 years. I lived in Spain for 6 years and in England for a year.
And I have traveled almost the whole European Continent.
Having lived abroad has been a great experience. I could learn another language that was English, to know other Cultures and enrich my life. I started teaching Spanish in Spain and I am stilll doing it!
I have had many students, all of them have been satisfied with our lessons.
I love traveling and getting to know people from all around the world. Apart from teaching Spanish, this is my passion.
Learning a language is not just to know how to speak. It opens your mind and a great part of the world!
For that reason, learning a new language is to grow in speech and in well being.
I started studying spanish in Puerto Rico in 1996. I was transfered there and as part of the pay package the company threw in a spanish course at Berlitz. I don’t think I learned alot but I showed up and was a good student. This was the beginning of The Student.
Next I took a course during the winter at the University of Colorado, in Boulder, Colorado. The weather was cold. I remember taking the bus in the snow, up the hill, and trying to put Spanish lesson together with the snow covered landscape. It never seemed to go all that well. I didn’t learn much but the campus was very nice.
Next I took it on my own, and studied via Pimsleur. i think Pimsleur does a really nice job. I studied the entire lesson one then went down to Puerto Rico to try out my “new language”. Everyone spoke English to me after the first sentence. That was fine, I was getting better. I sat in La Plaza de Armas in the evening and listened to the Boricuas talking politics. I understood, a little.
And now I’m studying online. I love it. A real teacher from a real country on my own time made easier with a free line from Skype. One day I’ll go back to Puerto Rico but for now I’m just watching Telenovelas. And learning.
Comencé a estudiar español en Puerto Rico en 1996. Allí me transfirieron y como parte del paquete de la paga la compañía lanzó en un curso español en Berlitz. No pienso que aprendí el alot pero demostré para arriba y era un buen estudiante. Éste era el principio del estudiante.
Tomé después un curso durante el invierno en la universidad de Colorado, en Boulder, Colorado. El tiempo era frío. Recuerdo tomar el autobús en la nieve, encima de la colina, y el intentar poner la lección española junto con la nieve cubrió paisaje. Nunca se parecía ir todo el que bien. No aprendí mucho pero el campus era muy agradable.
Lo tomé después en mis el propios, y estudié vía Pimsleur. pienso que Pimsleur hace un trabajo realmente agradable. Estudié la lección entera una entonces fui abajo a Puerto Rico a probar mi “nueva lengua”. Cada uno me habló inglés después de la primera oración. Eso estaba muy bien, yo conseguía mejor. Me senté en La Plaza de Armas por la tarde y escuché la política que hablaba de Boricuas. Entendía, un poco.
Y ahora estoy estudiando en línea. La amo. Un profesor verdadero de un país verdadero en mi propio tiempo hizo más fácil con “una línea libre de Skype. Un día iré de nuevo a Puerto Rico pero para ahora mí soy Telenovelas que mira justo. Y el aprender.
